Central Oregon Extended Unit for Recovery, Inc. (COEUR), doing business as Rimrock Trails Adolescent Treatment Services, provides alcohol and drug addiction treatment for adolescents age 12 thru 17 (more than 90 days to 18th birthday).
Located in Central Oregon, we operate out-patient offices in Bend, Prineville, and Redmond. Our residential facility is located in Prineville, Oregon. We are a non-profit organization licensed by the Oregon Office of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Programs. We are also certified by the Department of Human Resources, Services to Children and Families.
Therapy is based on the youth's stage of change and families are encouraged to participate whenever possible. Individual treatment plans are developed and updated regularly with the youth and his/her primary counselor. Each case is reviewed weekly according to ASAM PPC-2R adolescent placement criteria to determine the appropriate level of care. We have an adventure-based therapy component that provides a variety of outdoor recreation experiences for our clients, including hiking, backpacking and rock climbing.
